St Annes’ School Girls Toilet Room was in need of modernising and the LAN Services School Toilet Refurbishment team was approached to update the facilities and introduce a more modern approach to the challenges of a School Toilet block installation.

Girls Toilet Rooms Design

The Girls Toilet Rooms were designed with Blue Oslo doors and Gris Perle Grey Solid Grade Laminate Cubicle sides. An IPS Duct System is a unit that conceals all the pipework, waste and cistern in a false wall delivering a clean, minimalist finish. The back-to-back Bathroom Vanity Unit with Wash troughs made space for extra Cubicles.

This School Toilet Refurbishment was all completed on time, on budget and outside of term time to minimise disruption.

School Washroom Design and Antisocial Mitigation

Our School Washroom Design Team incorporated improvements in the way that Antisocial Behaviour is managed in modern Schools, from it’s open-plan layout, sensor taps, floor-to-ceiling cubicles and a few other ingenious ideas.

• Floor-to-ceiling cubicles to prevent privacy being compromised. Camera Phones cannot fit below or above the Cubicle.
• Due to the privacy of Floor-to-Celing Cubicles, the Toilet Block can be open-plan with no entrance doors – Staff walking by can prevent bullying.
• Non-concussive and Sensor Taps to save water and reduce the risk of flooding.
• Anti-concealment ceiling tiles to prevent hiding contraband in the Toilets
• No mirrors help prevent injury and time-wasting, reducing ‘hang time’.
• Solid Grade Laminate Cubicles resistant to Abuse and Water.

After consultation with our LAN Services Design Service Team a plan was approved to provide a complete strip out of the old School Toilet Cubicles and increase the amount of Toilet Cubicles to 30, add a suspended ceiling, clad the walls with Altro Hygienic Wall Cladding, 6 Armitage Shanks Sensor taps and counter mounted soap dispensers.

The School Toilet Walls are covered in Hygienic wall cladding making the room hygienic and easy to clean. Whiterock is hygiene and has a high fire rating.
